Health Connect not functioning (Android 14 - Quest Move)

Beginning Android 14, Google is moving their Health Connect Google Play app into a native system built-in app. This has caused the Meta Quest app to stop being able to sync data to Health Connect. Most other health apps have already had updates to adjust for this change, but the Meta Quest app still hasn't received an update to solve this.

I'm running the One UI 6 Beta 2 (Android 14) and I cannot get Health Connect set up with the Oculus app because I receive a message stating that the Meta Quest app must be updated to continue integrating with Health Connect.

Hope you can solve this ASAP as I want to sync my Quest Move data again. 🙂

Such a lazy response from the engineering team. If no one else was able to get syncing working, I'd accept it, but so many other apps work with the new health connect api.

Worse yet, after googling the issue for some time, this is the only place that had any mention of the feature being disabled.

They could at least remove the option from the app, or provide a prompt that says its been disabled for android 14 users.

Honestly they are the only ones that haven't gotten it to work dunno why this is not a priority for them. A lot of people use the quest exclusively for fitness

I am confused. How do wex'' proceed here? Is there another way to get the move info out of the headset? It's completely useless otherwise

We don't proceed until they fix it. It really is completely useless at the moment.

Holy crap I thought this feature was bugged or something, took me some googling to find out it's disabled on purpose. Quite siliy for a powerhouse that is Meta, I'm pretty sure they can assign an intern to follow Google's documentation for migrating the API and it'll be done in a week or less.

It's been more than 6 months on the report and over a year on the documentation of the Android features ... any Update on this? I really am annoyed seeing this marked as solved when nothing here got solved at all.
