Hi meta im using the oculus quest 2 and population one won't load ive restarted my oculus and uninstalled and re installed the game but still getting black screen and one other game won't load at all just 3 dots

Would you kindly confirm that you are connected to a strong, stable Wi-Fi network? In addition, please make sure the headset's software is up-to-date and reboot your headset. 

Please try and check these If the app/game still does not load, please don't hesitate to reach out to us again.

Thanks for reaching out to us, @barbaricbrandon97! Your explanation of your issue and the troubleshooting steps you've already taken are much appreciated! We regret any inconvenience that may have been caused by POPULATION: ONE not loading properly. Absolutely no user should have to continue dealing with a loading error that prevents them from accessing their games and apps, so we would like to look into this situation for you! To ensure clarity, we would appreciate it if you could answer the following questions:

  • Is your Quest 2 currently running the most up-to-date software version? Verify that your Quest is running the latest released software build by reviewing the Meta Quest release notes.
  • Is this loading error only happening when you play POPULATION: ONE or does it happen when you try to play other games as well?
  • When did POPULATION: ONE start experiencing this loading error?

We understand that you mentioned that you have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and rebooted your headset before, but we kindly ask that you do them again. Please double-check that you've followed all of the steps below correctly:

To reboot your headset:

  1. With your headset on and powered on, press and hold the power button on the right side of your headset until you see the Power off screen.
  2. Select Restart. Your headset will turn off and then turn back on.

Hi meta my oculus software is updated to the latest one also I've been having the same problem with a couple of other games that wouldnt load up properly like zero caliber and onwards but the rest work perfectly and this started happening about 3 weeks ago maybe abit longer thank you for the response
