Help needed with headset please

Hi, my headset is stuck in a restart loop. I can turn on the headset and put my passcode in and then I see the three loading dots but then a box comes up that says something like “Utilities app keep stopping.” Then below that it says “close app” or “app info”. No matter what one I press, nothing happens. And then it restarts. I’ve tried not pressing one of the options and it still restarts. I’ve tried powering off and rebooting it and that didn’t work. The only option I haven’t tried is the factory reset because I really don’t want to lose all the progress on all my games.

Hi @TOP_Hamilton_28 🙂

normally cloud backup in the headset settings is set by default.

If you haven't changed that, you won't lose your save games, even if you factory reset the Quest.

You can look for you saved games in the cloud backup.

Log in HERE

click on your profile pic, then on Meta horizon profil settings,

on the following page at the left bar click on "cloud backup"

We wanted to see if you decided to do a factory reset with Cloud backup enabled, as the helpful user @Choleni provided some tips on!

To find which of your downloaded apps are supported by cloud backup, as well as the last backup time and backup size:

  1. Go to secure.oculus.com/my/cloud-backup on a computer.
  2. Use the search field to filter for any specific application, or scroll through the table to view which of your applications have cloud backup enabled.
