Help with entering code when not detecting tracking on Meta Quest

Hi please help. I have tried to pair new Meta quest pro touch controllers. The head set unpaired my old controllers and now it is asking me to enter my pin but I have no connected controllers and it won’t detect my hand tracking. What can I do please help me

Meta Quest Support here, we understand how important it is that you are able to get your new amazing pair of Quest Pro Controllers connected to your Quest Headset and get started on playing your favourite games. We'd love to look into getting this issue resolved and get you up and running and immersing yourself in the Metaverse.

 

Pairing Controllers

With pairing your new controllers, you can use the Meta Horizon Mobile app to pair your new controllers to your headset.

Here are some steps we'd like you to try:

 

  1. Make sure that your headset is turned on, then open the Meta Horizon mobile app on your phone.
  2. Tap your avatar picture at the bottom.
  3. Tap  in the top right.
  4. Tap Devices.
  5. Select the headset that you want to pair controllers to.
  6. Tap Headset settings, then tap Controllers.
  7. Tap Pair new controller.
  8. Choose which controller you'd like to pair.
  9. Press and hold the / and buttons on your right controller or and on your left controller until the controller LED has blinked and then lights up to finalise the pairing.

Hand Tracking

Furthermore to help resolve your hand tracking issues once you have paired your new controllers, here are some steps to do so:

  1. Press Meta button for VR headset controllers / oculus iconon your right Touch controller to pull up your universal menu.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Movement settings.
  4. If presented, select Hand tracking. If not, proceed to the next step.
  5. Next to Hand and body tracking, switch the toggle to on or off to enable hand tracking.
