Help with parental account set up

My daughter's quest 2 needed a parent account to be used. She was using it just fine before, something about December 12. Anyways, I created a meta account, I let her keep her email and linked her account to mine. It asked me to enter the code from the main screen. I closed browser on the headset to find the code. Then I couldn't get back to the page to enter the code. So I tried it on my phone and after I logged in with the email verification, I got stuck on the "sorry, something went wrong" page.

From my brief research on the problem it sounds like I need to delete the secondary account, which is now my daughter's account. I don't want to delete all her stuff. Is there any work around?

To begin, we would like to inform you that the error you are having now is an issue on pairing your device to your account. For this, kindly follow the step below:

  • Log in to auth.meta.com/device.
  • After that, kindly input the 8-digit code that will show on your headset.

Once you are still having issues on this again, we would like you to try the possible troubleshooting below so we can check for more possible options:

  • Try another device.
  • Try using the incognito tab.
  • Try using another network.

After you performed the following troubleshooting above and the issue still occurred, we would request for you to reach back through private message with the screenshot of the error message you are seeing on your end. Please select our name to get to our profile page, or click here: https://metaque.st/CommunitySupport. Next, click "Send a Message" to privately message us! Please remember, you must be signed into the community first to send us a private message.

I wish I could say I didn't try all those options but I did and nothing worked. I went ahead and sent a email to support. Hopefully they can fix it.
