Here we go again

So after an almost month long debacle of missteps taken by meta, finally received a replacement controller. Come to find out, a REFURBISHED controller. And to make matters worse, it was not functioning correctly out of the box. The controller would not turn off. To turn off the controller you had to remove the battery. At that point I was fine, I can remove a battery. Now the controller no longer works AGAIN. After a chat with meta, they want to send me ANOTHER refurbished controller which I refused. The rep then said she would send it to her higher up team and they too said a refurbished unit would be sent. But she assured me that the refurbished units sent out are of the highest quality and tested before leaving the facility. To which my response was, “if that were the case then why did I receive a faulty unit that did not turn off?” No response.
