High Latency/Ping with completely fine wifi connection ON STANDALONE QUEST.

This is making me very angry, I have xfinity wifi 5G in my house and when i am connected to my wifi on my oculus quest 2, (NOT ON STEAM OR PCVR) literally just my quest 2 standalone and my oculus says that my wifi signal strength is excellent. But when i try playing gorilla tag, I seem to get a lot of lag and i have a huge latency causing me to have a HUGE disadvantage where i get tagged from 10 feet away way too far. i am always seeing other monkeys teleporting, which means i have very bad ping. please someone tell me the fix to this, i have tried getting closer to my router, using my wifi extender to my room, using 2.4 ghz over 5G, and nothing has changed, i am always laggy and have a bad latency. I am a very good gorilla tag player, i would say i could be professional if i didn't have a god **bleep** latency.
