Someone please help, to start off I bought an access point (specifically TP-Link Omada WiFi 6 AX3000), and have a AX3000 as my router for my wireless vr setup.

I still experience pixilation, distortion and black bars even on lower settings in bitrate, fps and quality. Is it my router that is the issue, or is there some settings or setup i am missing.

Hey there @xoxxo!

That's a pretty nice Access Point and router you have there, I doubt it could be your router is what's causing the issue.

Often network issues would cause dropped frames, stuttering or lag. Pixelation, distortion and black bars are highly unlikely to happen with problems with your router or network.

What the cause of this issue might be are:

  1. Your PC does not meet the minimum/recommended requirements for PCVR. Here is a link for the compatibility sheet -> Requirements for PCVR
  2. Your graphics card's drivers are outdated and may need to be updated to the latest version. Depending on your GPU manufacturer either AMD or NVIDIA, you may need to download the latest driver version.
    1. AMD Drivers
    2. NVIDIA Drivers

Hope this helps, and if it doesn't you can send a DM to our Community Support team here🐢
