@Shadewing I’m also happy to lose the dollhouse icon that I often hit by mistake.
You can easily turn ASW off with your pc keyboard by pressing ctrl+num1 (numeric keyboard 1, not top row 1). You can do this on the fly btw. To restore it to default Auto you can press ctrl+num4 and/or when you restart oculus services.
Other numbers like 2 and 3 have additional features; 2 forces max fps to 1/2 your refresh rate without ASW, and 3 does the same including ASW. These commands are fairly well known for those of us longtime Rift cv1 users.

Hello! I recently turned on my Oculus Rift and touch bundle for the first time. The tutorial worked and I could go into the in-built Oculus home and change my avatar and all that stuff. Now I can't go into it and all I see when I load up my Rift is a blank endless grid void. If someone could show me how to get back to the Home world, that would be great! 🙂

The home button has been missing from the last few software updates, now I believe it has been removed on purpose as they release Horizon's Worlds more globally and you have your own home space there..! Yes I know you can't configure it like this one, but maybe just maybe they intend to combine the 2 in some way ? A basic version for headset only and a configurable one for PCVR ? To be honest I've never noticed much difference between Horizon's Headset version and PCVR version ?

Probably to force us to use horizon worlds.

I tried adding Home2.exe & Home2-Win64-Shipping.exe to library and launch it but it doesn't worked.
In the end I open Home from the Game tab of Virtual Desktop and it worked 🤷:male_sign:

If the Home button is missing when using PC VR, make sure the correct drivers are installed and the headset is connected properly.

Just got the update a few days ago - and lost access to my Home.
Losing my home which I've had for many years - and have been spending hours setting up - is quite annoying.
Also my son was usually the one of us spending more time in there playing with items.
Personally loved sitting watching the old ships and the scenic view.
A button to enable or disable Home would be fine, but completely deleting users' home is not cool in any way. 2c.

Any updates to this? My home button is missing also on the original Rift CV1. It was fine until the last update where it also messed up my sound.
