Hey there elwynl! First off, WOW! Congrats on the new awesome computer! Pertaining to your issue, clearing your app data and any duplicate data left over from the multiple installations should help. These are the folders you will need to clear the duplicate data from: C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData

C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\Local

C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\LocalLow

C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\Roaming

C:\OculusSetup-DownloadCache

Maybe Im slow, but what do you mean by clear? within those paths provided "appdata for example" there are multiple folders and not all pertaining to Oculus... Do I delete the Oculus folder(s) in the above paths?

any answer

Perfect. I am having a problem.

I had a PC 8700 intel running fine. I just built a new PC I9 13900 in a Z790 Asus Hero board. if you know this board and the system you will know its top of the line. I reinstalled Oculus and everthing goes ok right up to after the first contact session you should go to your Home room. I do not I just stay in a open gray room with nothing in it.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled 4 times. Same results.

I just uninstalled and deleted the following

C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\Local

C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\LocalLow

C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\Roaming

now I am going to reinstall after I reboot.

The second problem I see is in the desktop app if I select the "reboot your Oculus" my PC reboots..

Hey there, Redron357 Thanks for reporting back, and thanks for the details you have provided; that really helps. Just so we can get a better look at your issue, can you collect your logs and put them in a support ticket here so our specialist team can look into them to make sure your PC is following the requirements for Oculus? However, we ask that you not post your logs here on the forums because we don't want your information exposed.

Below is how to collect your PC logs and a link to this as well:

If you're unable to install the Oculus app on your PC, collect setup logs:

  1. On your PC, press the Windows Key + R on your keyboard to open the Run window.
  2. In the Run window, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Oculus\ and press Enter.
  3. Locate the OculusSetup.log file and save it
