I have my facebook profile attached to my meta account, it shows in connected accounts/manage accounts.
I removed all sessions like the help article says, but that just booted my oculus desktop app out, and I had to relogin.
When I launch horizon worlds it says 'popping over to welcome island'
And I see the city, the moving objects, everything is alive and vibrant, but there are no options, no windows, no voice like in the quest app, NOTHING to press, NOTHING to do, nothing.
I have reinstalled the app, I have rebooted my pc, my headset.
EVERYONE, I DID IT!!! QUEST 1 can play horizon worlds!! You just have to make your avatar on the pc browser first at https://horizon.meta.com/, then it works fine!!!!!

I am having the same issue. I can turn my wrist over and click click on my personal menu, but the only options I have are mute, take picture, and pause. Nothing comes up when I click the 3 lines.
Hey @stefani. We see that some basic features and functions within Horizon World are causing hiccups in your user experience. We have a few things that may work for you in regards to resolving the issue of being stuck on the welcome screen. They are as follows:
We suggest going into your Facebook "log-ins" section and clearing all of your log-ins.
Unliking your Facebook or Instagram account if it's attached to your Meta account.
Resetting your router and reconfirming connections. This has been a solution for a small number of users.
Go to your router's settings.
Find the setting for Self-Organizing Network (SON) and turn this off.
Confirm your router is now sending at least two separate networks for 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz.
You may need to rename these networks and create new passwords since they're new.
Connect your Quest 2 or Quest Pro to the 5 GHz network and try opening Horizon Worlds again.
