Been having an issue logging into horizon world . I can get past the blue screen that says “entering horizon “ . And I never actually get in the app
ive tried redownloading. Didn’t help

I actually changed my username. I was also thinking that it might be the cause. But I'm not entirely sure. It seems like other people haven't changed their name and it's happening to them as well.

I think I figured out the issue we are all having and it’s actually a strange issue..
So of course this oculus/meta thing is attached to the hip with Facebook. We all know that. Everytime we use oculus, we log into Facebook. Naturally.
That’s where the issue is..
for some reason. The oculus is not only not logging us off when we turn off the oculus, but it’s logging in multiple times u see different label. As pictured below.
Basically.. before I start making no sense here…
You want to go into your Facebook privacy setting.. click the tab “where you are logged in”… get shocked a bit when you see all that, scroll down, log out of everything. Get on oculus and try worlds.
I’ve been able to get in 3 times already. When it doesn’t let me in, I repeat this process and I’m back in.
The issue is 100% at fault due to our Facebook profiles being logged in so many time at once. It’s bugging the system out.
Something Horizon Worlds needs to look into.
Hope I made sense.
I’ve been locked out for over 12 days and this finally worked for me. But it’s not clean cut.

I can confirm that logging out of all devices indeed solved the issue for me. Thanks! The strange thing is, I tried doing this before and it didn't work. But I think the difference this time is that I immediately tried going into Worlds after logging out everywhere. But the first time I tried, I think i logged into a few places first before going into Worlds. Maybe there's a specific login that's breaking the login into Worlds.

Okay, so I exited Worlds. I went into Venues. Got out of Venues and tried Worlds again and I got the same problem. So I went to Facebook and logged out of all devices again. Went straight into Worlds, and now I'm still stuck. This is so confusing.
I also notice that when I log into Facebook on my occulus, 4 entries are added in the "Where You're Logged In" section:

I’ve also noticed that you can log off each one in the Facebook app and leave one logged in and it may work. Sometimes it’s a full load at times it’s a partial load. Wondering if it’s login dependent on what information is pulled. It should definitely be just one log in no matter what. It’s logging into oculus, computers, unknown devices etc.

also interesting is my one device is showing up multiple times on my oculus app. So are all these “devices” logging in together?

@MetaQuestSupport please read above. I’ve figured out what’s wrong with horizon worlds not loading up properly for many of us. I think this is a easy quick patch to be released as soon as today honestly. There is a code that’s creating multiple loggings and devices.

It’s not to be disregarded.
I have to keep doing this over and over everytime I log in. Recently I’ve been logging them off one by one and just leaving one logged in. That’s been working too.
This is the primary issue and they need to work on it. Obviously it’s related to Facebook profile logins.
worked once for you. That was the way. Unfortunately I have no solution for a long term fix. I’m just able to point it out to @MetaQuestSupport and hoping they catch on to it.
the more information we can give, the bigger and easier for them to solve this once and for all. I share your frustration.
