Household/Family accounts

Is there a way to setup a household or family account so that my husband and kids can have their own account but access the games I have already purchased?  FYI my account is accessed through my Facebook account.  I am not sure if that makes a difference.

Hiya @Scudattle2, we see you have an inquiry about sharing apps on the headset. We know how exciting playing games can be, and we understand being able to separate your account and a family account is very important. We want to do all that we can to assist you on this matter!

 

To have this account separation with App-Sharing, please review the following:

  1. From your headset, on your admin account, press on your right Touch controller to pull up your universal menu.
  2. Hover over the clock on the left side of the universal menu. When Quick Settings appears, select it to open the Quick Settings panel.
  3. Select Settings in the top right corner, then select Accounts.
  4. Select Add Account in the top right corner.

After you have the secondary account added (family account in your case), you can enable the App-Sharing so the secondary account can play on your account by:

  1. Press the Oculus button on your right Touch controller to pull up your universal menu.
  2. Hover over the clock on the left side of the universal menu. When Quick Settings appears, select it to open the Quick Settings panel.
  3. Select Settings in the top right corner, then select Accounts.
  4. Select the toggle next to App Sharing to turn on App Sharing.
