I bought a quest 2 last year and since the beginning theres been an other main account and i dont have the data to delete it. Is there any way to get rid of it so i only have my account and make it the main one?
Hello, @TH3TEN. We definitely don't want you to miss out on the VR experience. A complete factory reset is an option for freshly setting up as a new device as it prompts you to create a new Meta account. Prior to performing a factory reset, we'd recommend you to consider the below:
Please note that while a factory reset is likely to solve the issue, it will wipe all data off the device.
Although some data can be restored with the help of Cloud Backups, which you should ensure is enabled. To find what data will be restored, visit the Cloud Backup page on your Profile.
Ensure the unit has sufficient battery life, as a factory reset can take some time, and if the headset dies during this process, it could become irreparably damaged. The in-headset warning recommends at least 50% charge.
