How do I delete things from the gallery that I already deleted on the headset?

I tried recording gameplay for the first time yesterday, and made a few accidental videos; turning it on before I was ready and turning it off again to start over. I deleted them from the gallery and got a confirmation popup window, which is pretty standard in everything nowadays. So I assumed it was just a {Cancel/Reconsider/Are you sure you want to delete this video?/whatever} and {Delete} thing, and just pressed {Delete}. Today I went into the app on my computer to dl the videos I saved and all of the ones I deleted are also there. I double checked on the headset and it looks like the {Delete} button was only for deleting it on the headset, and the other one said something like {Sync} and was for deleting the synced version as well.

Illogically there is no delete option on the Meta app. Support pages and other threads all claim solved with "they're deleted on the headset," but they're no longer on the headset. So I don't have that option. How am I supposed to delete them now, is this just a troll function / design flaw?

I do not understand why the option to only delete it on the headset even exists in the first place. Every other cloud service in the world either has a system where the icon/name shows up and it unloads the data after an amount of time then downloads when attempting to open, and/or has a high quality control system to manually tag files that should be downloaded to the device vs running from the cloud by default. Meaning that deleting a file actually deletes the file from the cloud, triggering the removal of the data from all devices it's downloaded on, thereby fulfilling the definition of "delete" as it should.
