I got a replacment headset for my quest two anf trying to get throught the setup I need to pair the controller but I lititarlly cant pair the left one because the Y button dose not work anymore. what am I suppose to do because I dont want to pay for an overpriced controller because of a setup softblock.
You need fully functional controllers. Contact meta support and see if they can help. If you're out of warranty they may be able to offer you a lower cost refurbished controller. You may also be able to pick a used one from places like Ebay. This is just a user forum so I'm sorry I can't help you further mate. Good luck and cheers.

I borrowed a controller and was able to get through the setup but I still need a way to get the controller to pair is there any other like press a different button
You need a Fully Functional controller to do this. You’ll also need this for many other apps. So, just get yourself another controller imho.
