Whenever I turn on my S3, it will automatically connect to Meta Quest Link over air-link to my PC. and it will not let me access the native menu of the device unless I close the application on my PC.
And then it drives me to extreme levels of rage when it automatically opens the application that I just closed back up on my computer and re-connects to it.
I closed the program. that means I don't want it open.
I have already gone into the settings of the rift S to disable automatic airlink connections. This setting is ignored and an airlink connection is formed within 4 to 6 seconds of turning the headset on with the app installed on the computer.
@Alpha17xx there's yet another issue with the meta link PC software. If you have the beta version through the PTC and are on version 71 software you can leave the PTC and roll back to V69. More info here -
In Your HMD Settings > Developer > Uncheck "Quest Link Auto-Connect".
