Ever since the new core 2.0 came out including all the versions from v1.20 through the new public beta v1.23 when I quit a game through the right controller Oculus home button I'm typically stuck in the white void waiting for Oculus home to load anywhere between 20 seconds to 2 minutes. I want to get other members input
Also max 2 seconds. Offcourse it depends on you system. Im still at the 1.22 and I have none of the problems and issues that have come up these last couple of days. In fact I havent had any issues whatsoever since I got my rift. Guessing that when I first get in trouble the damn hmd is gonna explode or something. Would be my kinda luck.
I'm on satellite internet which is horrible in itself but I wonder if your internet connection speed has anything to do with how fast home will load, although if it does I'm sure doesn't take that much data to load it
I think the contents of the room gets pulled from the cloud every time it loads. Don't quote me on that! I did a small test and saw a spike in network traffic when loading Home up.
