How to record mixed reality on mobile app or pc

Hi,

I have a quest 3 and am playing drop dead the cabin which is awesome but when I try to record, all I get is the superimposed doors and windows and table with the control box but the rest of the room is black.

Is there a way to record my surroundings with the added doors etc.

*** Edit***

Just found the solution.

The instructions I read on the net said to disable boundary but with that disabled, the see through doesn't work.

So I set up the room but extended the boundary all the way up to the walls and reduced the sensitivity to lowest setting and all is good in VR world.

Camera recording from menu worked perfectly to share the mixed reality with zombie hating friends.

Thank you

Greg

I also encountered the same problem,

Reserve the boundary and the room will be black screen.

I also want to know how to solve it

Hey,

In settings, boundary, choose your own boundary, roomscale, confirm floor. Draw line around room where wall meets floor.

Settings, Physical space, set sensitivity to low.

Don't forget to change sensitivity to middle after the game or you might find yourself hitting walls with a cybersword in Population One.

Trust me on this one 😉

Thank you so much. My first run on drop dead the cabin in mixed reality was kind of spoiled. I streamed to my computer and didn’t realize it was black until after I was done. It was cool because I had to run around my cat at one point. One of the only times where he didn’t seem to know to stay clear when I’m playing vr. I think he knew I could see. It was really bugging me that I could not get the full experience recorded. But, I think I did see a video where the guy said he disabled his perimeter and he still had full video. So he could run through his house. So there must be a way to do it. His video showed him running down his hallway.
