Quest 3. I am having a boundary issue. I have created a roomscale play area. But whenever I go to sit at my gaming desk or on the couch, the headset pops a warning that I have left my boundary area, and switches to passthrough mode. The warning gives me an option to either a) create a new boundary or b) stay in passthrough.
Is it not possible to have more than one play area, one for when I want to play room scale games, and another stationary area for when I want to play seated VR games or watch a movie while sitting on my couch?
I have attempted to create a new boundary for when I am seated, but doing so deletes my roomscale play area. Vice versa, if I want to play roomscale I am forced to create a new roomscale boundary. In short, I must create a new boundary from scratch each time I switch between stationary and room sale.
On my Index it would just stop bugging me and the blended in boundary would disappear, allowing me to eg, play Elite Dangerous at my desk or watch a movie on the couch. I can't believe Meta has not yet solved this problem after all these years.

Hi there, @GodrikUnderscore! We understand the inconvenience of having to set up a room scale and stationary boundary each time you switch from one to the other. Great news! In our recent software update v62, we have added Space Recall, which will help your headset recall the space around you without having to rescan the area. You can save up to 15 total spaces in the Space Setup option under your headset's settings (Settings > Physical Space > Space Setup). Let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

We were curious whether you'd gotten a chance to test out the Space Recall feature rolling out with v62, to see if that resolves things for you! Once you've tried it out, let us know if that's resolved your issue, or if you have any other questions!

The problem still exists in v63. I got from the meta support an email that's there is actually no solution ☹️

And same problem in v64. Seems meta have no will to fix this issue.

Funny thing is that this was a solved problem. All previous Quest headsets have the ability to have two boundaries in one room: one stationary and one room scale. For whatever reason Quest 3 can't do that anymore. People have raised this issue over and over again. Based on @MetaQuestSupport's response they don't even understand what we are talking about. We don't need more spaces; we need two boundaries within the same space.

Hey there, @ImXL! We want for you to be able to enjoy your time in VR in whatever way is most comfortable for you. If you would like to see the ability to create and use multiple separate guardian boundaries in the same area without re-drawing them manually, the best avenue for that suggestion is on the Ideas forum.

I've lost count how many times I said this: this is not a new idea. This is how the Ques 2 -- or any other Quest headset -- works today. They all remember two boundaries in one room: one stationary and one room scale.
There is no reason why Quest 3 can't or shouldn't work the same way. But it doesn't. The result is that I am forced to include my couch inside the boundary when I use the Quest 3, creating a safety concern.

Hey @ImXL! Thanks for providing a bit more context on your issue. You are wanting to switch between the two. Here is a helpful article on how to adjust that. Let us know how that works out for you. Have a great day.

I got this reply from meta support:
"There is no special option to save the Guardian in the Room Scale when switching to a different Guardian mode. Therefore, the room must be rescanned each time the mode is changed."
It coincides with my experience since I buyed the headset.
It's really bad. I gave it up. Only idea is to switch the headset. Does someone know how it works with the Apple Vision Pro?
