Hi, I run a Quest pro via link cable for PC VR flight simming. My wife recently purchased a Quest 3 headset, she uses this standalone for VR gaming and apps and has started her own account to use it with.
I would like to try the headset on my PC, to compare performance and visuals etc. I tried simply adding it via my Oculus PC desktop software using both link cable and wifi, but it would not connect, I just gotthe spinning circle......
Can someone tell me why it wont connect and how to connect it to my PC by the correct method please?
I'm not sure if the problem is caused by that. But I can imagine, trying to link her account with your account on pc app might mess things up.
Yes, you can have multiple accounts on one headset. Your wife is the admin account on her Quest 3 and can add your account. After that you can switch berween the accounts. HERE can you find how to add an account.
Hi, not sure, as it has not asked me anytime about an account. The Quest 3 headset is as she uses it, so if that means it is set at her account, then I guess the answer to your question is "Yes" . Do I need to get her to log out of her account and add my account to her headset before I do this? And if yes, is this easy and straightforward to switch accounts going forwards? Can you have multiple accounts ( Like on a windows PC) and log in to whichever you choose? Thanks
