I have made several attempts to contact you online via the Facebook Help Center and have sent several emails to support@fb.com with zero replies from either one. My profile (Susan Isabella Sheehan), which I created in 2007, was hacked on October 13th, 2024. I have over 4500 friends on that account, close to 1000 followers, three professional pages, one of which has over 24,000 followers.
I have over seventeen years of memories and posts that appear to have been lost. I have done nothing to warrant this. The hacker also took over my Instagram account, LilyoftheFae, which according to the help center is in violation of your terms and cites that as the reason why my original account on Facebook is blocked/disabled. Again, it is nothing that I did.
I was able to create a temporary account in the same name in order to stay connected with my family members and closest friends, but the experience is nothing short of frustrating as well as heartbreaking.
I am pleading with you to please restore my original account with Facebook. My name is Susan Isabella Sheehan, unique address ChildofLilith. My Facebook professional pages are Author Susan Isabella Sheehan, Daily Blessings, Quotes and Inspirational Art, and Auntie Susan’s Hearth and Home.
I am elderly and disabled, and the amount of emotional and mental distress that this has caused me is immeasurable.
I can provide documentation in support of my identity. This is important to me as it represents many years of my life.
It's never ideal when someone accesses your personal accounts without your permission, and we completely understand that this is not the experience that you would like to have on Facebook and Instagram. Thank you for your reply. Since I am unable to access my old account I am not able to contact Facebook about my old account, only my new one. Is there another way to contact someone?
Hi it's a common problem and many users are having this issue. To get back your account you need to make an appeal, contacting with meta support team and provide your identity. If you want to know more about it please reply here.
