Whenever i join a call on my meta quest 2 i join the call but cannot talk and the sound that plays whenever you first join the call keeps repeating how do i fix this? Also before you say restart your headset or check if your microphone is muted or even factory resting I've already tried all of those and none of it worked.

Being able to talk to your friends is a really important part of the social experience for Meta Quest VR. So we would love to review and see if we can help you out. Are you able to use the mic anywhere else? If you could give voice commands a shot and let us know how that works, that would be great! You can find instructions to enable them on our article about: Voice Commands on Meta Quest
Otherwise, if you have any other methods of testing your mic that would be great. Be sure you visit the quick settings and toggle the mic off and back on (maybe twice just to be sure) to ensure everything is properly synced between settings and the mic. Let us know if anything changes, and we would love to investigate further!

My mic works everywhere but calls. It works in games and even in recordings just not calls.

Thank you for the response! Glad it seems to be working everywhere else at least, lets see if we can get your calls working correctly. Have you double checked your voice settings for the group call? You can switch some voice settings while in a group for cases when you want to talk in-game instead of the group. What happens if you host the call and your friends join you instead?
We did have something we wanted you to test too, please give the following a shot and let us know how it goes:

Hi again, @Alekal. Thank you for sharing that update with us. The next thing we can try to have you make sure that the app has access to your microphone. Here are the steps to do so:
Step 1: Type microphone privacy in the Search box and click Microphone privacy settings.
Step 2: Click Change and allow Microphone access for this device.
Step 3: Scroll down to Allow apps to access your microphone and toggle the button on.
Step 4: Scroll down to Allow desktop app to access your microphone and toggle the button on.
