I can not buy any game and software in Meta store

Subject: Unable to Purchase Games and Software on Meta Platform

Dear Meta Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue where I am unable to purchase any games or software on the Meta platform. Despite multiple attempts, my transactions consistently fail, and I receive the same error message without any clear explanation.

I have already tried the following:

  1. I am not using a credit card or PayPal—I only intend to purchase using the Meta Quest Cash in my account.
  2. I have tried different networks, reinstalled Meta Horizon, and even attempted purchases on different phones and computers, but the issue persists with the same error message.
  3. I have contacted Meta Support for over a week and have sent more than 15 emails regarding this issue, but it has not been resolved. (Meta Quest Support: Case #07977963)
  4. The error message I receive when attempting to make a purchase is:
    "Request Not Completed - We noticed something unusual and, for your security, this request couldn't be completed. Please try again later, or visit our Help Center."

Could you please assist me in resolving this matter as soon as possible? If there are any specific actions I need to take, kindly provide detailed instructions. Your support in addressing this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Please, help me. I have been in contact with Meta Support for over a week, but there has been no progress at all.

The responses I receive are always repetitive and do not solve my problem at all.

I want to reply to your private message for assistance, but the Meta messaging system shows:You have reached the limit for number of private messages that you can send for now. Please try again later.

I'm sorry you are having this issue Asin0200. I have been dealing with this exact issue for a month now. The support team is a joke at best. Going from one person to the next repeating myself as they seem unable to read the prior tech comments in the ticketing system. Or they are not updating the tickets it's your call what they are doing. I do know what they are not doing and that is resolving ticket within SLA times. I have had only one other ticket with the support team and that took 12 months to get a resolution. The only way I can think of how to resolve this issue is by resetting your headset. read to other forums on this process.

Have you gotten update on this? Ive been having the same issue since February and been emailing them as well. I just got a message saying their emailing system has been having issues but nothing about the error itself. It’s happening to every account in my household. It’s frustrating.

iT HAS BEEN OVER A WEEK NOW THAT i HAVE N'T HEARD BACK FOR THE META SUPPORT TEAM. They call themselves support team I would like to say the are a bunch of non-working fools they do notheng to help out end users. They lead you on to think they know what they know what they are doing just to have you do all their work for them and if you don't find the fix for them they closed your ticket or just delete your ticket. this is the second time I have gone through this with the Meta suppert team. I work in this industry (IT Dsktop Support) and if at anytime I conducted mysle like the do I would get fired. They do not support the end users at all. They have these generic emails they send to you the the developers made to reply so end users with is help is needed. They tell you do this do that and after a 4, 5 months of replying back and fourth they just do not respond to you request for help. I net here to rant about the lack of support they have for end users, I'm here letting people know how they conduct their support for people like us the end users. It's the lack of empathy they have for their end users (us) which is so appaulling. They get you to do this or that to get your account fixed and after they lack the ability to resolve your issue they just do nothing. Ifthat is support then go to another country! oh you have already done that PSH!!!!!!!!!! I'm so done with these people and their idiot non-empathetic servicedesk want-a-be's. ISSUE HAS NEVER BEEN FIXED AND THEY DO NOT CARE IS THE BOTTOM LINE SO TAKE YOU OWN CHANCE I HAVE LET IT BE KNOWN.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE THEY WILL NOT AND DO NOT SUPPORT THEIR END USERS

Did resetting your headset work? I feel like I’ve tried everything at this point. I’m thinking resetting my headset wouldn’t work as it’s an issue with the account. My headset had been recently reset prior to this and then I barely used my account on it to purchase a game after that, then the next time I attempted to purchase in the same day this error occurred. I logged out and back in on my phone and computer and same issue, no matter what device or browser is used.

nothing helped with my this issue. This issue is a a bug in the software that needs them to fix and nothing we do will fix it. The one thing I do not understand is the fact that I can create a new subscription and it will take my cards, but try to do a purchase on any flatform they give to you to use doesn't work. With the issue going across multiple platforms tells me that it cannot be fixed by any action we take. I just got done chat with a service agent about this issue and he assured me that my ticket was still open. I wasn't too sure about this as I haven't heard back from them in over a week.

Acordding to the meta forum count there are over a hundred and 111 people with this issue. what a joke
