Hello! Was this ever resolved? My sister is encountering the exact same problem. I.e. when she tries to change the email address on her Meta account, it tells her "This email is not available". She doesn't have a Meta account via the address she wants to change to, but I think her Facebook and Instagram accounts are associated with it.
