I can’t play Gorilla Tag

Whenever I click on Gorilla Tag to play, the three white dots pop up indicating that the game is loading. But then , I get kicked out back to my home. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the game, restarting the headset, I have even tried factory resetting my headset but nothing seems to work. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, how do I fix it so I can play again? Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

Hello @Lefty-16. We understand how this loading issue is interrupting your game play time and would be happy to assist you in getting back in the game. To proceed accordingly, we would need to ask you a few questions:

 

  • Confirm that the app is being downloaded from the Meta platform. Side-loading and third-party platforms, such as Steam or SideQuest, are not supported by Meta Quest Support.
  • Confirm that the app has been downloaded and installed on the headset.
  • Are you able to launch other applications? Does the problem occur with more than one app?
  • When did this start?
  • Were any changes made?
  • Is the home environment having any issues?

Thanks for the response! The game is downloaded from the meta platform. It has been downloaded and installed. This is the only app that I have trouble with. All other applications work as they should. This started about late October of 2023. I have tried factory resetting, restarting the headset,  and deleting and reinstalling the game. I also made sure both the game and the headset software had been updated. Asides from this problem, my home hasn’t had any issues.
