I can’t play multiplayer games

When I play Pavlov shack and gorilla tag multiplayer on online lobbies it lags and kicks me out in 5-10 mins and I don’t know why. It’s not my internet I have checked when I get kicked. My brothers meta quest doesn’t have this problem.

  • Are they the only two games that are crashing, or are your other games also crashing?
  • Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the apps?
  • When you are able to be in lobbies with other players, have you checked to see if they are experiencing the same issue?

 

Please provide as much information as you can. Once we have that information, we will be able to look further into this with you!

Yes I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and yes other players have this problem sometimes too.
I haven’t tried other games because I’m kind of new to vr

Based on this information, this may either be an issue with the Wi-Fi or it may be an issue with the game developer's servers. 

 

If it's the Wi-Fi, make sure no other games are having the same problem and that your Wi-Fi network is secure and not being shared by multiple devices. This could cause other games to crash as well. 

 

If other games are not crashing and only those two are, we advise reaching out to them and letting them know of the issue. Gorilla Tag Support uses Discord to reach out to users, so you will need to have an account in order to report the problem. For Pavlov Support, they also use Discord to help their users. 

 

Please let us know if other games are also crashing. If so, we will be happy to look into this further!

Ok I will try but I got new games the have the same problem it might be the wifi

In this case, let's see if restarting your modem for your Wi-Fi, then try restarting your headset as well. to restart your headset: 

 

  • To restart your headset:
    1. With your headset on and powered on, press and hold the power button on the right side of your headset until you see the Power off screen.
    2. Select Restart. Your headset will turn off and then turn back on.
  • If you're unable to restart your headset:
    1. Press and hold the power button for at least 10 seconds. This will manually turn off your headset.
    2. Wait 30 seconds.
    3. Press and hold the power button until your headset turns back on.

 

If your games are still crashing after this, please let us know so we can look further into this!

My games aren’t crashing when I’m in the games it lags and kick me out of multiplayer lobbies and puts me in single player basically it kicked me out of lobbies in the game not the game itself
