I can't use Quest, it asks for a code

I have suddenly been forced to upgrade my account to Meta and now it asks me for a code and I don't know where to put this code and I can't use my applications and I can't use my Quest headset.
Please could someone help me?
I can't find where to generate a help ticket in my account either.

Hey guys! This thread seems pretty old, with not a lot of recent activity on it. So I will be locking this thread. If anyone is having trouble with needing a code to use their Quest device, there is a new thread where you can post, and other users and support will be able to help you with this issue.

I went through this two nights ago. You have to get meta occulus app and set up the pin there.

I have been forced to factory reset on the recommendation of the Oculus technicians and have lost all the apps and files I had copied to my headset. I will have to reinstall everything.

Can you please help me to so it says to go to www.meta.com/setup I go there put in a code and it says something I can't log into my acount I'm trying for hours not it doesn't work I can't play any games or do anything can you please log into my account and help

Hey there @marcbromberg! We hate to see you're having issues with your device code, we know how troublesome that can be. Not to worry, we're here to help get this resolved for you! We have a few things you can try, let us know if these steps help:

  • Log out of the mobile app, then log back in.
  • Uninstall then reinstall the mobile app.
  • Ensure you have cloud backup enabled, and perform a factory reset to the device.

I tryes to factory reset google said to hold power and volume button down witch I did it said no command with a green person with open belly

Oh no! Sounds like you're having troubles factory resetting. No worries, we have a trick that should help resolve this. First, try holding the power button for 10-15 seconds. Afterwards, follow these steps to factory reset:

  1. Turn off your headset.
  2. Hold the power and volume (-) button on your headset down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
  3. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Factory Reset and press the power button.
  4. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.
