I have had my Q2 since November 2021. I love it. I can play games and watch 2D videos with no problem - the images are clear and crisp.
But, no matter the setting I use for the lens distance, 3D videos just appear double-vision as the two camera angles that create 3D will not overlap correctly. If I close one eye so I am only viewing one camera angle, each image (left and right) are clear, but I cannot view them together clearly and so no 3D experience for me.
Things I have tried already:
*adjusting the lens distance between all 3 settings as well as between settings
*Tilting the headset up or down on my face
*shifting the headset a bit left/right on my face
Thank you for ideas on how I might be able to enjoy the 3D immersive experience in Q2 headset.
Thank you for such a quick reply. So far, I tried youtube.com 3D videos through the meta browser and some other just "click on it and watch" that someone mentioned on FB . There was one I tried when I first got the headset that was a free app in the App store, I don't think it was from side quest/app lab - 3D experience, a murder mystery if I recall correctly. Had to watch that whole thing with one eye closed so I could see it clearly.
I will look at Big Screen and see if I can watch anything there in 3D.
The youtube app isn't much good to be honest as it just seems to play videos on a large screen. Sometimes the browser will render 3D videos better. These videos should all play well in either big screen or VD if you selects SBS mode. Or download the YT videos and put them on on your headset and watch them in SBS mode in the headsets file viewer.
