Symptom is a jittering which occurs in stand-alone mode at the main menu and is more prevalent while playing PCVR both via Air Link and Meta Link with a cord. Appears to be some kind of skipped or lagging frame mostly noticeable during lateral movement of my head, however it also occurs when sitting completely still and only moving the character in game so it doesn't appear to be a tracking issue. This occurs across multiple games. It also occurs while moving my character forward and backward in game but it is less noticable. The hitching happens every roughly 3-5 seconds, sometimes a little longer in stand-alone mode. It makes me nauseous after a while and I am unable to continue playing. I have tried the following:
*Changed virtual environment and disabled home environment widgets*
*Ensured controllers are fully charged*
*Ensured headset is fully charged*
*Unplugged any and all third party devices and cords, quest is completely stock*
*Changed tracking environment to well lit and dimly lit, changed rooms*
*Updated software, current version 67*
*Rebooting*
*Completely factory reset the device*
*Turning on and off battery saving mode*
*Changing WiFi from 2.4ghz, 5ghz, and 6ghz*
*Turning off WiFi*
*Lowering or raising brightness*
*Lowering refresh rate, turning on battery saving mode*
*Disabled boundary*
I have also tried a different router and different PC. However, as I mentioned this jitter also occurs in stand-alone although less noticable. So far nothing has worked. Seems like this may be an internal software issue or hardware failure. Hoping META will honor a return but I've heard the problem persists across units which leads me to believe this may be a software issue. Before I try to return it, any help or suggestions? Thanks.

Hey @LordNikahn! We understand stuttering can be pretty annoying, especially when you experience it through Air Link, Quest Link and as a standalone device. We have a few things we want to clear up so we have a better idea of what you would be experiencing.
We hope to hear back from you soon! We hope you have a great rest of your evening regardless!

I would appreciate it if you actually read my post, I already specified I experimented in both a well lit and dimly lit room and changed my environment to ensure it wasn't a tracking issue. Additionally there are jitters in the game during character movement, indicating this is NOT a tracking issue. Again, I already specified that in my original post. The games this occurs in are VTOL VR, Half-Life Alyx, Into the Radius, Into the Radius 2, and the standalone quest home environment. I will work on getting video of it if I can.

Hey @LordNikahn,
Thank you for clarifying.
From your message I can see the issues are happening not only with Meta Store games, but also whilst playing games that are not available on the Meta Store. Any unsupported software that provides these games can cause problems within the headset.
If you need further assistance, we recommend sending us a PM so we can investigate further.
