I just factory reset my headset,I can’t pair

So I just reset my headset (oculus quest 2) and I want to pair it now, it’s stuck one the pairing screen.”Enter 5 digit code in the mobile app” I tried doing that. It says “Meta Account already linked to this headset” or “unable to pair, please try again” ( I entered it on “connect new device”). Can’t I de connect my headset from the app?!?! Please help me.

Hello there, @Xanderhasan! We hate to see that you are having trouble pairing your phone with your headset. We know how much of an inconvenience this causes for our users when pairing their devices, and we'd be happy to look into this with you! 

 

  • Could you please provide a screenshot of what you are seeing when trying to pair your device?
  • Have you tried clearing your Bluetooth cache as well?
  • Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mobile app?

 

Please provide as much information as you can about trying to pair your device. Once we have that information, we will be able to look into this further!

I fixed it, all I had to to was wait. After like 30 mins, it said “ update complete” on the app. Thanks for the help anyways

I just got another, the date and time is off by a lot. at 11pm it says 4 in the morning. Any idea on how to fix this?

I'm having same issues, but I just bought mine. I'm new to all this, created account and went through all the steps but still it will not let me pair my brand new quest 2. I have been trying since yesterday and still says headset not found

I'm having same issues, but I just bought mine. I'm new to all this, created account and went through all the steps but still it will not let me pair my brand new quest 2. I have been trying since yesterday and still says headset not found. I've tried everything from Uninstalling app and re installing, to logging out of app, to factory resetting headset manually, and making sure connected to same internet source, headset fully charged. To even checking Android version, it requires Android 5.0 or higher. Mines android version 12. Please advise. I want to play and don't want to waste another 550 dollars buying

Plug it in and let it be, look on the app from time to time
