I keep getting screen tearing and lines every few seconds.

Hi, recently I've been getting screen tearing and lines going down my screen on my Oculus every few seconds so I was wondering if my rift was defective. This happens both in direct and extended mode.

It does it in all the demos including the desk demo.

Here are my specs.

I'm curious about this as well. I changed nothing, but all of the sudden I'm getting screen tearing all the time.

When did yours start and when did you get yours in?

Mine just randomly started last week.

Maybe the shelf life of some of these screens is low?

At present the best solution is to toggle vsync on and off from what I've heard. Give that a shot.

I've already done that and it still happens.

Is there any way to get it shipped to Oculus for repair?

I got a relating situation - every few second I get a performance drop - it is very consistent
the FPS drop is in all UE4 (also none VR) whenever the service is running.
