I have looked everywhere for an awnsers, and now I am here. Whenever I try to use someone's device referral code, it just says "unable to accept referral". I live in a supported region, and I have no clue why it isn't working. Can somebody help me resolve this issue?

Just came on to find an answer as I have the exact same issue.
I already own a Quest 2, I’ve never had any referrals before, I’m getting a Q3 tomorrow so friend sent me a referral link, but I’m getting the same error.
is that because I already have a Q2 on my account? Do I need to remove that first?

Yes, it is.
These referral program is for new Quest user.....and "new" does not only mean new device, but also new to the Quest family🙂

Hey there, @PurpleSheepMan & @Goooner1! As @Choleni stated, you have to be a new user to the Quest family to use a referral. So if you already have a headset, the referral will not work.
