Dear Instagram Team,
This is my final attempt to reach out to you. I’ve been trying to recover my account for over six months with no success, and honestly, the support you offer is extremely disappointing.
A hacker gained access to my Instagram account (@pieroo18_) and changed everything: my password, email, and phone number. Despite that, I managed to reset the password, but I still can’t log in because the hacker enabled two-factor authentication (2FA) using their own credentials, locking me out completely.
My original email which was changed by the hacker. They also replaced my phone number with a different one I don’t recognize. The hacker even created a second account initially named “teamanticoke,” which was later renamed to “pieroyouaredead”, and has continued engaging in unauthorized activity from it.
At one point, Instagram temporarily disabled my account due to unauthorized access from Melilla, but I managed to get it back. Still, the hacker retained access through 2FA, and I’ve had no way to verify my identity or get any real help from your team. It’s absurd that there is no clear process to resolve such a serious issue.
I am once again asking you to review my case urgently and fully restore access to my account. I can provide all necessary documentation and proof of ownership.
I expect a serious response and a real solution. This situation has become unacceptable.

we’re sorry to hear that your Instagram account was hacked, however as community managers we aren’t able to assist you with this directly. We can help with Meta Quest related issues but unfortunately we lack the ability to assist with Instagram account issues.
