Hopefully someone here can help if they have dealt with this or maybe just missed a tutorial somewhere or something. Every time I cast from my Quest 2 to my iPhone the casting feed is always in portrait. Is there any way to force the cast feed to be in landscape?
I have tried reaching out to quest support and basically just told me to turn it off and on again which obviously didn’t work.
Any help is much appreciated as I’m very frustrated only seeing a small portion of the FOV.

Haha still that option is not in my version of the mobile app. I did manage to get "some" result by manually walking out of my boundaries, switching to desk/stationary and then re-entering my roomscale boundary. However, the augmented reality option is still a no-go; when I select that camera mode it immediately reverts back to normal recording. Maybe the headset had to be in the phone camera area when activating? I tried this by taking off the headset and leaving it on in the roomscale area while setting up the phone but I couldn't get it to work...

Is there a fix for this? It still doesn’t work. I have tried every suggested work around. Casting is permanently stuck in portrait mode, it’s basically unusable.

Hello, Tears_Og! We are surprised that Casting is stuck in portrait mode for you; nonetheless, since we have been in your position previously, we know how unpleasant it can be. Please enable us to investigate this further for you.

I’ve tried contacting support, this entire forum is difficult to navigate. Every time I manage to get to a support page I’m asked to log in again and brought to another page getting stuck in an endless loop. Really frustrating experience.
The problem began about a week ago. Also, we used to be able to record a casting on the quest app with gameplay/iPhone camera, these features aren’t available anymore?

Hey there, @Tears_og. Thank you for your reply and letting us know that you have contacted support already.
We have all been in a been there at one time or another and we certainly know how tedious troubleshooting can be.
We look forward to your response.

I’m having the same issue across three different iPhones an X an 11 and an 11 Pro. No landscaping and None of the swipe features or buttons work as shown in the picture and the swipe feature doesn’t work. I don’t even see the quest casting sometimes. I attached a pic of the features that don’t respond to any tapping

Good luck, you’re just gonna get some canned response that doesn’t help. lol.
I had to wipe my phone and reinstall Meta Quest to get landscape casting to work and then a day later it stoped working again.
And I still can’t find where casting/camera options went.
It’s a mystery. 😢

Yes still not working, also this forum won’t let me log in randomly and gets stuck in an endless loop.

I searched on every forum on internet and eventually end up fixing this by rotating an iPad due to the Rotation Lock being enabled. Here's how to fix it:-
1. Check Rotation Lock:-
2. Check Side Switch (older iPads only):-
