I had a quest 2 that was boot looping for days, everything in the boot menu including factory reset did nothing. Was about to give up and put it in the closet but I first thought to try disconnecting the battery cable. After leaving it like that for a bit and plugging it back in IT WORKED. This took me about 30 min to do and is not hard. Uses bits you can get at Walmart. So if your quest is boot looping and no other solutions work, open her up and disconnect the battery and it might just save your head set.
