I just got v69. I'm so confused cause in v67 it was comfotable with one main centered window to do everything. Now in the settings and other stuff, you click and option it opens in the center as a window, it pushes the previous window to the side. I don't understand what that's about, i don't find it of any use. like I click the Quick settings thing it opens up in the center. then from there i click the WIFI..then it pushes the Quick settings window to the side and it makes a new window with the WIFI settings on the center. Now i have two windows. I don't understand how that helps me.
Meta quest help chat told me Seamless multitasking is great for chatting with friends etc, Watching videos, i'm guessing WHILE playing games. For me that doesn't interest me, i do one thing at a time( playing game). I don't even use internet.
Well, it's also under experimental setings to turn on or off Except......even if you don't turn it on, it's enabled by default and you can't turn it off. So is there no way to turn it off? Is there way to go back to the single window mode?
Thank you for your help

Just got this update on my Quest too, I can see how it could be a bother! Unfortunately, I can't currently find a way to deactivate it, as you mention there is the option still in the experimental features menu but it can't be turned off.
I'd recommend posting this in the ideas forum as that's where our engineers look, for now you can 'X' out of windows if you don't want them up, there's an 'X' in the corners!

This multitasking is a real pain, having to keep closing windows everything I go into settings and another window pops open, what on earth were they thinking off. At least have an option to disable this nonsense.

couldnt agree more. seems the experimental settings have been removed, so there isnt a way to disable this window movement mess. how does a person disable it??? I dont like it because it makes the text smaller, even when i change the text to large.

Bit of a bother to begin with but I soon got used to it. Sometimes it's useful because when your close the front window the other one takes its place. The size of the windows seems fine to me. If you have poor eyesight it might be nice to make this larger. Maybe there is an accessibility option somewhere?

you can increase the font to 'large' or 'larger' but the window size does not change so then you see like a huge W where you then need to scroll to see the rest. an option of if disabling was once available in prior release now it's gone. would be great to have these as options, not the new default.
