Quick question, could you buy items or for example coins from inside already bought games using a meta quest gift card? So basically making in-game purchases using a meta gift card. I’ve been looking for answers everywhere but can’t find any😭
Hey Kookie.Chip! That is a great question, and we would love to give you more insight on this. As of yet, the Meta gift cards can only be used for purchasing games or apps through the store. If they are add ons and are available in the store, like the Beat Saber add ons for example, then you can purchase them. However, for purchases made inside a game the Meta gift card does not work. Will there be any of in game purchases in the future cause i spent 50 dollar gift card off amazon and am not able to buy in game purchases so if i keep this 50 dollars in my account will i one day be able to buy in game purchases

For the time being, we haven't heard anything about whether they'll be able to work to buy in-app purchases. I have a 25$ meta quest gift card if i try to buy a game for 15$ it will say were having trouble completing the process and if i try gifting it will say the person cant be gifted even when i got gifted before on that account. Please help me
Hey @TrixsterZay! We hate to hear you're not able to use your Meta gift card, we love getting free gifts from people too! Let's see what we can do to get this resolved for you! In order for your gift card to work you'll first need to add a card to your payment method. Click here to see our accepted cards. Once the card has been added, you should be able to use your gift card. Please let us know if this worked for you!

I had an meta quest 2 in 2021 and it broke so i bought a new one in 2023 i had some games missing on my account and i can name the games. Superhot vr Five nights at freddys vr Arizona Sunsine The walking dead saint and sinners Golf+ job simulator eleven table tennis. Can you please help me i played thoses games everyday thank you.
