Hmmm, no way to get the exact name of the card? It sounds about right.
I use the "Inateck KTu3Fr-4P" and can confirm it works at least in my setup. In Windows 10 it is plug and play with no additional drivers required. It has an additional SATA power connector just as you describe.
I have 3 sensors on this card, two of them operating in USB 3.0 mode and one connected with the USB 2.0 extension (that came with the additional sensor) thus operating in USB 2.0 mode as expected and recommended.
The HMD itself is connected to an onboard ASMedia USB 3.0 controller, and being recognized as USB 3.0 - so I wouldn't know how it would perform if also connected to the remaining port of the PCI card.
