Info about Oculus Rift + Touch bundle and a total of 2 sensors

I'm searching info before buy this bundle. I follow Oculus since it's first steps on kickstarter but my huge economic problems said me to wait before that buy. Now it's coming with this bundle "Oculus + Touch" at 449 euro (wich is -a lot of money- in Italy but better than before for sure).
I could buy it, it would be a gib sacrifice in therms of money for me, but there is something that I have not understand and I wish to clarify with your help please.
Does the bundle comes with only 2 sensors? This looks very bad, consider that on the official Oculus website is wrote that 2
sensor is only -experimental- and that 3 sensor is the official number of
devices for a 360° VR (you can read this info in the oculus store on
theyr website, at the page of the accessory, the page of the sensor). so
my fear is that for 450 euro I'm going to buy something of incomplete, and I really wish you can help me to understand this situation please.

2 Sensors is normal. It's the most common way to use the Headset and Touch Controls.
The "experimental for 360 VR" part is confusing, do not worry about it.

Richooal thanks for your reply. The problem is that Oculus oficially say on the website....

"Please note: two-sensor 360° tracking is an experimental feature—not all experiences may work as expected.
Three-sensor 360° is fully supported."

source: https://www.oculus.com/accessories/ (under oculus sensor).

....and that for example those 2 IGN reviews on youtube say that people need to buy a third sensor.

1) The Unspoken Review, go to minute 1:43 to listen the comment (I posted the link at that minute)

2) Rick and Morty: Virtual Rick-ality review minute 1:18

Considering I'm going to spend 450 euro that's is one of the most costly tools I have ever bought for home entertainment I wish to feel really ok that I'm buying something "full complete/100% working". But I do not have a good feeling about it.
Do you think could be possible Oculus will give a discount code for the third sensor to people who bought this bundle?

Firstly, from what I have read on these forums, there is no discount for the 3rd sensor. (sorry). Quite a few people said they ordered the 3rd sensor, and got it before their Rift.

Using 2 sensors, placed so that they are facing you (as recommended) works just fine for most situations in "Sitting" and "Standing" cases.
Some games, like Robo Recall will tell you that you need to face the sensors, if you turn too far around.

At the end of the day, it's up to you to decide. Tracking with 2 sensors for me has been good. No problems yet. If you intend to play games like the ones in your video links, I would suggest you go ahead and buy the 3rd sensor.

Either way the Rift is awesome with 2 or 3 sensors. Don't miss out.
Right now you can get the bundle and a third sensor for less than the bundle after the sale.

The 3rd sensor is only about $60 USD.  They' don't offer a discount, it's also not required.  I don't have a 3rd sensor and all my games are just fine.  My brother bought one, it makes it better, but it's not required.

honestly 70 euro is a lot of money for me!

You only need 2 sensors. I have a 360 Roomscale setup with the 2 sensors that come with the Oculus Rift and Touch Bundle. I seems that maybe a third sensor would increase tracking performance, but 2 sensors has been working just fine for me in the week that I've had my rift. It works really well, and so far I haven't had any issues with it. You don't need to do any extra set-up process or anything, just place the sensors on each side of your room and run the Oculus Setup like normal.

just a few question than I will take my decision please:

1) here in italy is a hot summer, do you belive I could wear oculus rift during summer or it would be too hot?
2)
If there will be a new model I will probably have no money to buy the
next model so in your opinion do you belive that next generation VR
games will continue to support the actual (old) oculus rift? did oculus
said anything about it oficially?
3) do
you belive Oculus CV1 is only for consumers with "early adopter"
mentality (people who jump next the newest tech but are a niche) or do
you belive Oculus CV1 had been designet also for mass market consumers?
because if the answer is "it's for the early adopters" I will not buy it
(I will wait the next model if it will target the mass market). All I
know is that Oculus CV1 basically doesn't exist in Italy, no retail
shops or even amazon sells the new bundle for example and this is the
main reason of my scepticism!

thx!

The headset does tend to get a bit warm and it can get a little hot. Where I live, it's almost constantly 90°F, so as long as you have some sort of fan or Air Conditioner on while you use the headset, you should be good for hour long sessions, maybe longer.

If a new Oculus Rift Model were to be released, I don't see why the current model wouldn't be supported, considering that the headsets are just displays that are motion tracked, and the controllers would all work because of things like OpenVR.

Virtual Reality won't be a "Mass Market" thing for a while. Considering the price and the high PC Spec requirements, it's not really something that will be meant for a mass market for some time. The closest thing to mass market Virtual Reality is something like the Gear VR or Playstation VR. So my answer is, no, it's not a Mass Market thing, but it does seem like Oculus is trying to appeal to a wider audience, since they are lowering the price and their minimum system requirements are technically not that high. I don't see why they wouldn't have it where you live, but I doubt it's because it's not for a "mass market". They probably have their reasons, and it does seem like they want to sell their product to more people, again, because of the whole price drop.

I hope this helped. I definitely recommend the Oculus Rift CV1. I've had a lot of fun with it and right now the price is definitely great.

thx a lot! I forgot an important question sorry: I have read a lot about the screendoor effect on the VR display in general, can you tell me if the quality of the vision trough the CV1 display is good enough to be happy for some years? (even if it's true that future display will improve the quality). Because I will probably be not able to upgrade to the next generation vr headsets for economic reasons. But I wish to know if the actual oculus cv1 is very good. thx again!
