Today my Instagram account was hacked where the Gmail and password were changed even though I had my 2FA turned on. I don't know how that happened but I've sent a video selfie identification and so I'm wondering how long this might take and does this guarantee that my account will be back as I have lots of private things in that account which I need. Instagram is usually very slow and doesn't respond fast enough which annoys me. Just wondering also if anyone has tried the video selfie identification and did it work or not and how long it took to get your account back.
Nope. Instagram is the most lazy corporation ever. I saw so many videos that video selfie identification emails would be sent back by Instagram to the user in a few hours but yet when it comes to me or most users, it takes days, months and so on. This annoys me so much that only Instagram does this.
Oh and for your information this is the 2nd time this has happened to my account, even though I had 2FA, I cant just start over every 2 months my Instagram account and if thats the case then why use Instagram? Instagram should honestly enhance their support system plus their help center is the most useless piece of crap. Doesn't solve anything, pointless tips and no proper way to contact with live support. Instagram should fix their help center
