Intermittent loss of connection

Randomly my headset goes black and an error message says display port has come unplugged.  The connection is tight and this occurs even with no movement. I have tried restarting and that seems to be the only way to get it back.  I reinstalled Occulus and problem persists.  Any ideas?  The headset has worked fine for 3 months.

Exact same thing happening with my Rift S over the past week or so. Happens frequently when I put on or take off the headset. Looks like a recent update broke something? Not found a solution yet unfortunately.

Same here, just put in a new ticket with support. I've always had USB detection issues with the headset but had a pretty consistent workaround by disconnecting the headset prior to boot and then reconnecting to a native USB port after the system fully loaded (I tried the hub and PCIe cards and neither worked well for me).  For the past few days - I think since the last driver update - my normal workaround is no longer good.  I get a successful connection maybe 25% of the time at best. Major PITA.
