Into the Radius Lagging PCVR

I got Into the Radius on my quest and it was crossbuy so I got it on my pc and I got 5 hours in the game (I use airlink to play) and I really like it but I stopped playing for a while and when I came back to it, it would start out normal and after a little bit it starts lagging really bad then it becomes fine, the same amount of time later it starts lagging again. Its really annoying and I updated my graphics drivers and it still lags, I check other game like Bonelab and it plays fine for a while so its just Into the Radius. What should I do to fix this? Thanks.

I check again with task manager open and whenever it lagged the CPU went up but this never happened before and I didn't change the settings so I don't know why this is happing.

You got quest 2 newest update v54? That update causes unstable connection for pcvr although meta does not say anything about it. It is already a problem for over a week and there are multiple forums about it but it does not look like they care enough to fix it so be prepared to not play pcvr for a month or so untill they release a new update

Hey there @gamemaster92, we see you are having issues with Radiant in particular. We know that having these latency problems can be inconvenient, and we understand how important it is for you to be able to play in VR smoothly. We would love to provide you as much assistance as we can!

While we ask some questions to help understand some accurate troubleshooting, can you please attempt the following?

To repair the Oculus PC app:

  1. Go to www.oculus.com/setup scroll down to Oculus Rift S and click Download software.
  2. Select Repair.
  3. Allow the repair process to run, download and install.
  4. Launch the Oculus PC app.
    • If Windows asks you if you’re sure you want to open this file, click Yes.
    • If Windows Defender prompts Windows protected your PC, click More info and then click Run anyway.
    • If your antivirus software restricts the file from opening, temporarily disable your AV and continue.
    • Please remember to re-enable your antivirus software once you've completed the repair.

Can you please let us know of the following:

  • Which Quest headset are you using?
  • Do you have any other USB cables plugged in?
  • Did you update to Win 11?
  • So you still have a decent amount of storage left? The Oculus app gets finicky when your PC is low on storage.
  • Have you tried using the Link Cable instead?
  • Have you adjust your bitrate here (You can set up to a max of 100 mbps on AMD, and you can set up to a max of 200 mbps on NVIDIA)?

We hope to hear from you soon!

1. I am using a Quest 2
2. I have USB cables for my headphones and mouse and keyboard
3. I am using windows 11
4. I have 120 GB left on my computer
5. Yes but it still lags a lot
6. Yes, it has no change whatsoever
I tried repairing the oculus app and it did have a effect, it now only lags if I turn around it lags but every other direction it does not lag. I don't know why this is happing because Into The Radius is the only game with this problem.

Hey @gamemaster92. Thanks for getting back us with that update. We appreciate you trying all of our troubleshooting steps and answering our questions. Since this is just happening in Into The Radius, we think it would be best if you got in contact with the Into The Radius developers. We see that a lot of users usually post on their Reddit Page to get assistance with problems.

When it comes to In-App issues, we really can't do much because we don't have the resources that gives us the chance. We are sure they will be able to figure this out for you and get you back to gaming without any problems.
