Seeing the current cash grabs some companies, e.g., Reddit, are trying now, could this be the start of META trying to force all Quest users to only buy games/apps directly from META? This is to prepare us for Quest 3 (or 4) which will have no ability to connect to a PC?
I am new to the META world, my Vive and Vive Pro finally bricked themselves and I needed a quick replacement. I was surprised that I liked using the Quest 2 and was planning to remain with it. But if this conspiracy theory is in any way true, I need to start looking again. VR is not just gaming for me, using it definitely saved me from a wheelchair and probably my life, that quote came from my physician.

I doubt it. The bad press would outweigh any benefits. I think it's just ordinary incompetence.
