I'm looking at getting my son Meta Quest 3 for Christmas. But he uses Steam on a partition of an imac running Windows 10 through bootcamp. Will it be compatible?
@kaking these links may be of some help, but the meta link software may complain about the eGPU not being supported. You might be able to connect the headset to the mac wirelessly using SteamLink or Virtual Desktop apps from the quest store.
Thanks so much. I did find all that information in my search, but since the posts were several years old I was hoping there was a more recent/better solution. I suppose I’ll just try it and see what happens! Then I might be shopping for a Windows machine.
