Is it safe to use compressed "canned" air? - Quest Pro

Is it safe to use compressed on my Quest Pro? I never used it on my old Quest 2, because the lenses have large plastic gaps that small particles (dust, dandruff, tiny hairs) could potentially slip through and end up getting stuck on the screen. I read that on a Reddit post. But because the Quest Pro has rubber inside all around, and from what I can tell all of the corners look sealed, would it be safe to blow it out from a distance using an electronic air duster can? An air duster can is just the easiest thing to use. And I'm still using a microfiber cloth for the lenses themselves.

Hi there!

A good adventurer always keep their equipment clean! Especially after a long journey in the virtual world.

Our recommended method for cleaning our devices would be using a dry microfiber cloth after each use.

For smaller spaces that you can't access, we advise a clean disposable soft-bristle toothbrush.

We only recommend using compressed air for inside the USB-C port with 3 bursts.

Note: Safety glasses and PPE must be worn per manufacturing recommendation

On our website you can find our Public Article for how to clean your Meta Quest devices step by step!

We hope this helps! Have a lovely day.
