Issue meta quest 3

I'm not sure what category this issue would fall under (hardware/software)

But last night I brought my quest 3 to my friends house to show his children. When I tried to turn the device on that evening the meta logo booted like normal, but then it stopped spinning (like it usually does when booting up), then the screen flashed bright white ,turned off briefly, then started the whole process again. This went on a loop till even after I held the power button for 10 and 30 seconds respectively. ( didn't work)

The kids were getting a little anxious so I though I'd just factory reset the device (hitting the power and volume button together). It seemed to take a while so I just left the device to do its thing in the next room. 


After I'm not sure how long. I came back to it and on booting the it seemed ti make some difference where atleast I stopped seeing the flashing white light and the meta logo would appear and not get stuck. But now the logo seems to be spinning forever. I even left it on charge on the table over night and this morning the meta logo was still spinning!!.

I tried powering it off and restarting it again from here. But I get this logo of a white box(maybe a storage card ) with an arrow in the middle of it pointing downward through it. And a green loading bar below it that fill to the max before going back into the infinite loading of the meta logo.


Has anyone else ex9erienced this? Please help
