Like in the topic. I contacted Support few times, but they are completely clueless. All they do is take my logs each time, then send me some crap list of things to do which I did already 20 times, and that does not resolve the issue (they mainly ask to update all drivers and if nothing works reinstall everything LOL). The only "workaround" is to close all tasks in task manager that relates to oculus. Then I need to start Oculus app, connect headset and then maybe sometimes it connects,. When it does, there is no sound. I need to do that from 10-50 times until Rift App suddenly starts working and I'm connected to my PC via RIFT app. Any guesses ? I gave up on Meta Support, they are not competent enough to resolve this issue.
@Stareje have you tried the SteamLink or Virtual Desktop apps to connect the headset wirelessly to the PC as the implementation of Link/airlink is garbage. If you don't have a suitable router to stream PCVR content wirelessly to the headset, then there are alternatives like the D-Link or Puppis S1 wifi adaptors.
@Stareje unfortunately I don't have either of those as I bought a cheap honor/huawei 3 router before these devices were released. My dedicated router has performed well since then. There are probably reviews on reddit for both of the devices.
