Issue with pairing and app sharing

Hey so I'm having trouble here and I need to know that i have 2 accounts on my sons oculus and the main or admin account is on my phone and he had a account but he couldn't pair his phone to the device and we enabled app sharing to the primary account so that all the paid games would be on their and he could buy his own games but he could never get it the oculus to pair to his phone it was on mine and I want to factory reset it but I'm afraid that all the paid games on the main will be lost if we save the data on the primary.

Hey there!

 

When factory resetting a device this will reset the device to a "like-new" state, wiping all information and data off the device.

Some of this data can be restored by enabling Cloud Backups beforehand; however, keep in mind that while Cloud Backup is available to all Meta Quest developers, it is up to developers to decide whether to enable this feature for their app and what data is backed up. 

 

You can find which installed apps have Cloud Backups enabled on the Cloud Backups page of your Meta account profile.

Once you have set up Cloud Backups, ensure your device is fully charged before performing the factory reset.

 

You can perform a factory reset by following these steps:

  1. Turn off your headset.
  2. Hold the power and volume (-) button on your headset down simultaneously until the boot screen loads on your headset.
  3. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Factory reset and press the power button.
  4. Use the volume buttons on your headset to highlight Yes and press the power button.
