I'm experiencing issues using the Remote Display app on my MetaQuest 3S headset (128 GB) with my MacBook Air M1 (macOS Sequoia 15.1.1) . Here's what's happening:
When I try to use the Remote Display app, it attempts to connect to my Macbook but stays stuck loading for a while. Eventually, it quit without establishing the connection.
I also tried using Steam Link (Steam version: 1733265492). The app manages to connect to my Macbook, but instead of showing the visuals in the VR headset, they appear on my laptop screen, and the headset stays black. After a few moments, the system crashes, forcing the restart of the headset.
I do have a good wifi connection with a speed of 180 Mbps so I don't think its related to my network
Do you have any suggestions or fixes for these issues? Could this be a compatibility problem with macOS or the M1 chip?
